I hope your day is extra special.  I love hanging with my family in our pj's as long as we want.  This is one of our favorite days of the year.

Today's project is a Homemade Goodie box...

I love the colors.  I used some retired SU! cardstock I've had forever.  I seem to save my favorite cardstock and never use it.  I decided to break it out for this! 

You can find the template for the box at My Time Made Easy.  It's called The Flapper.

I filled it with homemade turtles.

I made this tag using MTME's Yummy Sentiments and Homemade Holiday Labels.

Father's Day for Grandpa

Hi :-)

I have two more Father's Day cards to squeeze in toay.  These are for the grandpa's.

My dad is a farmer/rancher, so this one's for him:

My FIL is more of a wildlife guy, so this is his:

The embossing was done using CB Plants embossing folder.  The sentiment is from Verve's Father Figure.  The images are from SU!'s sets Farm Life and Backwoods.

MTMEPPC14 Faith, Hope

Hi!

Happy Father's Day to all those dads and grandpas out there!!  We are blessed to have such great men in our lives, so it's fun to celebrate them.  My hubby is competing in a shooting competition this weekend, having a fantastic time!!

It's time for another MTME Pretty Palette Challenge!  I love, love this color combo!!

I really had fun with this color combo and a new fav stamp set of mine...Bold Botanicals from My Time Made Easy (MTME). 

With an image this beatiful, my card didn't need many layers or frills.  I love the sentiment too.  The image is digital, so I colored it in PSE, printed onto WW cs, then cut it out with oval nesties.  I embossed the pink layers with my CB Divine Swirls embossing folder.

Color challenge with a twist! Make a card or project using these colors. The twist: use at least three different punches, and one of the three has to be a border punch. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've been enjoying making shaped cards lately, so I decided to make a cupcake!

Isn't it cute?!  The template can be found at The Digichick.  The cupcake "wrapper" was made using my paper crimper.  The "frosting" was embossed with CB D'vine Swirls embossing folder.  The flower's leaves were made using SU!'s 5-petal flower (cut apart petals to make leaves).  The card opens up like this:

Baseball Father's Day Card

Hello!

We have a crazy weekend planned, so I'm busy scheduling posts this morning.  Whew!  I have some really fun cards to show you, so be sure to check back each day through Sunday!

I have been using a lot of digital stamps lately.  They are really fun and offer a ton of diversity in their uses, but there's nothing like getting a little inky!  I broke out the ink pads and markers this week and got busy making more Father's Day cards!

We have 3 T-ballers and 1 Rookie this year.  They are loving baseball.  My hubby and I are too.  It's so much fun watching them play!  I just played for fun growing up, we didn't have a baseball league in my town.  However, my hubby played on a league for a long time.  He's pretty good (at least the kids and I think so ;)!)  I thought it would be fun to give him a baseball themed card from the kids.

 

I love the baseball.  It's my favorite part of the card!  I cut it out with a circle nesties in naturals white cs and sponged the edges in crumb cake.  I pierced the stitch lines, then sewed it with embroidery floss.  Behind the ball is a green baseball diamond. I'm sure he'll like it, especially with their sweet messages written inside!

MTMEPPC13 Lady Bug

Hello :-)

I'm learning a new sport...golf!  I am having so much fun with my, oh so patient, hubby!  We have been golfing quite a bit, kids in tow.  They are loving it too.  It's awesome family time. :-)

I love ladybugs.  This one is so cute.  She is part of MTME's Sensational Digital Package.  Digital stamps are so versatile.  I colored and sized her to fit my card, printed and wa-la!  It's that easy!  If you look closely at the background, you can see it is embossed with dots, complementing the ladybug. :-)

Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary, so I thought I would get creative with these colors and make an anniversary card for my hubby.  These aren't the colors I would think of for a guy card, but I think it worked.  He'll see the humor ;-)

MTMEPPC11 Teacher Card

Happy Memorial Weekend!

I hope you are enjoying your weekend!  We had {almost} a full day of baseball today.  We have one Rookie and three T-ballers in our house.  It was fun!  :-)

This week's My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge is:

I'm a little behind on end of the year teacher gifts and cards, so I decided to use this palette to make some teacher cards!  Here's what I came up with:

This digi stamp is perfect for a teacher.  It's part of MTME's Sensational set.  I used punches and dies to cut the flower, butterfly and flourish.  The white layer is embossed with my Rings embossing folder.

Chase Your Dreams JUGS85, CPS116

Hello :-)

It's hard to believe this school year is ending!  I'm ready for summer, but I'm not ready for my kids to grow up this fast!  This fall, all our kiddos will be in full-day school (sniff, sniff).  It's a good thing I get to soak them up all summer!!!

Today's card is great for a new graduate, or anyone making a change in their life (such as a new job...hint, hint, Jos!). 

I LoVe this girl!  She's from MTME Chase Your Dreams.  I had a lot of fun playing with her in Adobe Photoshop.  If you click on the image, you'll be able to see the coloring better.  I overlayed patterns on top of colors to create different textures.  I'm loving digi's!!

The shapes were all cut using Nestabilities and my Big Shot.  The blue "sky" was also embossed using Quickutz Polkadots embossing folder.  The "grass" was fringed using some super-cool fringing scissors I picked up at WalMart!   For the sentiment, I cut it with a Spellbinder's Tags 5 die.

Dad's Day MTMEPPC10, Card Patterns 115

Hello :-)

I'm excited to show you my card today, it was a fun one!!  I try to think "out of the box" with my hubby.  He always appreciates my creations, crazy or not (or at least he knows what he's supposed to say, hehe!)!

Today's My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette colors were perfect!  Try them out and show us your creation here!

I used Card Patterns sketch 115.

For my hubby, who is a fantastic daddy, and loves to play golf...

Isn't it fun?!  I made the golf ball with scallop circle nesties and a polka dot embossing folder.  I sponged the edges and surface in Garden Green and Close to Cocoa to give it a used look.  The flags represent the flags at each hole.  I cut ribbon, wrote numbers on them and attached a thin piece of cs.  The grass was cut using a grass die and my Big Shot.  I hand cut a golf tee and laid it in the grass.  What about that sentiment?!  It is one (of many) in the newly released For Dad stamp set from MTME.  I love so many of the sentiments in this Father's Day set.  I had a hard time choosing which one to use :-)
